"We Can't Stop Here, This is Bat Country"
It seems a bit played to use a quote from the Hunter S. Thompson classic, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, as the title for a post about Vegas, but between that and "Viva Las Vegas!" I'll take the former.
With our Game in Vegas postponed we were left to make the drive straight from Snowmass, CO to SoleTech's home in Orange County, rather than stopping in the gambling capitol of the world for a few days. However, being too long for one day, the drive got split by an overnight stay at a motel in downtown Vegas. I had personally never been to Las Vegas before, and while we were only in the town for less than 12 hours, I saw enough bright lights and burnouts, not to mention the prostitutes, to know that Vegas is one crazy town.
