Slayer show in Virginia Beach!!!
The main reason we all were so eager to visit Virginia Beach was none other than the Slayer concert. Jay's friend is the guitar technician for Kerry King of slayer, so he was generous enough to fork out 666$ worth of tickets to us. So after the rained out game of skate, we headed to the Virginia Beach convention center along with our good friend, VB loc Brian Lotuaco and his homey. He snapped the following shots on his trusty digital camera. (I stole these from his photo blog post, but I'm sure he won't mind.) We managed to show up a little too early-- we had to sit through an hour of Killswitch enGAYge before finally seeing Slayer, although it was worth it when the guitarist amped up the crowd to form the "wall if death" and proceed to kill each other in a muddy field.
If you can't tell, I was psyched!
Finally, the moment we had all been waiting for.... SLAYER!!!
