Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Just like New York City has consistently held the biggest éS Games of SKATE, Philadelphia has had the best Finals two years running. Last year’s exhibition by Tom Asta in the Finals was amazing—13 tricks in a row at one point, and we’re not talking shove-its here. Legit tricks, including double frontside flips, revealed a deep bag that may have come from skating with Chris Cole.

This year’s Finals were amazing, as well, with Spencer Brown blazing a path through a deep bag of tricks, and most of the field of finalists keeping up with him. Inward heels, every tre-flip possible, nollie backside flips, whatever—it took the double nollie heel to take the last guy out, and Spencer will be returning to San Diego in September for the éS Game of SKATE Amateur World Championships.
