The éS Game of SKATE in Omaha, Nebraska was held on a brand-new parking lot at Next Generation Skateboards. The folks at Next Gen were amped about the game and went all out to make it a real event in the community. The result was a lot of good skateboarding and good times, including a metal band, a hip-hop band, and lots of cute girls.
Local favorite and two-time éS Game of SKATE winner Rob Warren made it to the Finals, but couldn’t pull it off three times in a row, as Bruce Abraham had just a bit more consistency than Rob and Stephen Kane, who ended up in third and second.
If Stephen can nail his bag of tricks with more speed, he’d be a contender next year, for sure. The éS Game of SKATE crew was psyched about “Butter” Bruce, as they nicknamed him, and he’ll be repping for Nebraska in San Diego in September.
