éS Game of SKATE 2007 Venice Beach 2

The éS Game of SKATE, presented by Boost Mobile, was held in Venice Beach, California in conjunction with Active Ride Shop’s Hot Dogs and Hessians Tour, on Saturday, July 7, 2007. In a town where being weird is normal, and to some extent required, it might’ve been the most normal thing on the beach that day. One hundred eighty-four skaters filled the main basketball court just around the way from the beach gym, the free graffiti wall, and in the midst of all the Venice madness. The Southern California talent came out in droves to show off, and in the end, the last skaters were a talented group of shredders. The final shredder, though, was Jake Eames, who put the ender switch backside flip down with flair to take the top spot.
